BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Laura Andersen, President
Laura is a resident of Boerne and a former member of the San Antonio Police Department from which she retired as Captain in 2017, actively commanding three service area substations. Laura comes from a family of 18 Texas Rangers, including John Jackson Tumlinson, the first Texas Peace Officer in recorded history to die in the line of duty. It is Laura's goal to dedicate her family's passion for public service to leading the mission of the 100 Club of Kendall County.
Cris Andersen, Vice President
Cris is a former member of the San Antonio Police Department, retiring at the rank of Captain in 2016. He is a 33-year law enforcement veteran who continues to serve as a reserve officer with the Leon Valley, Texas Police Department. From 2003-2016 Cris commanded Patrol Operations, Tactical Special Operations, Support Services, Special Investigations, and Homeland Security Sections, and was the Night Chief.
Will K. Stripling, Secretary
Will Stripling is a former volunteer fire fighter, father of a fire fighter, and active board member of various organizations in service to our schools and community. He has over 30 years of corporate experience working for organizations such as Hallmark Cards, Johnson & Johnson and HEB. His wife Denise currently teaches at Champion High School and they are the parents of two boys.
James Schmidt, Treasurer
James Schmidt is a current member of the Boerne Police Department. He is a Patrol Sergeant and has been employed with the Boerne Police Department since 2015. He is a life-long resident of Kendall County and is married to Brittany Schmidt. They are the proud parents of a pre-school daughter.
Richard Chapman
Richard came to Kendall County in 1976 and established roots in a small community much like the one he was raised in. Richard has a long established community service resume in Kendall County including 4 years on City Council, 21 years on the Boerne Volunteer Fire Department, a Berges Fest Director, Director of the Boerne Chamber and currently County Commissioner of Precinct 3. His goals are to extend his conservative views and proactive business practices to the County operations and continue his community service.
Brady Allen Constantine
Brady and his wife Ashley have been married for over a decade and now have a son named Brayson (along with two small dogs, Benny and Wylie). Brady is a Firefighter/Licensed Paramedic for the city of Boerne and his wife Ashley is a Critical Care Nurse employed by North Central Baptist Hospital. The Constantines own "Fireman's Finest Fireworks" located in Kendall County and donate part of their annual proceeds to the 100 Cub of Kendall County.
Rick Goodrich
Rick Goodrich originally is from Nashville and currently serves as a Drug Enforcement Administration Supervisory Special Agent. He has served with the DEA since March 2000, beginning his career in New York City. In 2006, Mr. Goodrich served abroad on official Diplomatic assignment with the U.S. Embassy in Bogota, Columbia as part of the Narco-terrorism/Jungle operations group. In 2012, Mr. Goodrich returned to the U.S. and was part of the Miami, Florida Field Division from 2012 to 2018.
Lance Lira
Lance Lira has been a resident of Boerne since 2004. Lance was previously a volunteer fire fighter in Bexar County and rose to the rank of Captain. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio and has an extensive background in the sciences as well as the corporate world. Lance has previously served as Board member for the Kendall County Fair Association. He is also a musician playing the alto saxophone and plays with the Boerne Concert Band and the Boerne Jazz Band where he also serves on the Board of Directors. He is a full-time Realtor and he and his wife own Nature’s Presence in Boerne.
Steve M. Perez
Chief Steve Perez was born and raised in San Antonio. He served four years in the U.S. Army, then joined the Boerne Police Department in 1999. Steve is a graduate of Texas A&M University - San Antonio earning a BAA in Criminology, also graduating with a master's degree in Public Management along with a certificate in public management from the Bush School of Government at Texas A&M, College Station. Chief Perez also is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy, Class 257.
Scott Rykert
D. Scott Rykert is the Managing Director of Capital Markets at SWBC, an international financial services company. Scott has over 30 years of fixed income sales and trading experience. After attending SUNY Binghamton, where he pursued a degree in Finance, Scott began his career on Wall Street at Stoever, Glass & Company in municipal sales and trading. Scott is married and has four boys.
Michael Schwab
Michael earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Texas San Antonio and was a member of the San Antonio Police Department for 31 years, retiring as a Lieutenant in 2016. Michael and his wife Patsy have been a part of the Kendall County Community for 14 years and are active members of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Boerne. The couple has five children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Schwab has turned his hobby of piloting aircraft into a second career as a contract pilot, but still finds time for community service.
ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS
Manuel M. Casarez
Manuel possesses a life-long interest and passion in the science and art of fire fighting. He commenced his first position in firefighting as a volunteer in the Universal City Fire Department in 2004, then was promoted up through the ranks to the ultimate position of Fire Chief in 2016, all the while educating himself in firefighting science through college courses offered at San Antonio College. He completed his Associate Degree in Fire Science as well as an array of specialized courses at various academies and educational venues. He was appointed Fire Chief of Boerne in 2023.
Albert Ray "Al" Auxier
Al Auxier entered the Department of Public Safety Academy in Austin in 1986. Al has was first elected Kendall County Sheriff 2012 and was endorsed by many different law enforcement organizations, including the Boerne Police Officers Association and the San Antonio Police Officers Association.
Jeff Fincke
Jeff is a lifelong resident of Kendall County and now serves as the County Fire Marshal and Emergency Management Coordinator. He was a member of the Boerne Volunteer Fire Department for 40 years, 28 of those years as the Chief of the Department. He is married to Lorraine and they have three daughters and four grandchildren.
Brian Webb
Brian currently serves as the EMS Administrator/Chief for Kendall County Emergency Medical Service. His primary concern in this role is for the survival, safety, comfort and confidence of those residents who call on his team's resources. Brian has served the citizens of Kendall County for 31 years and is on the National Registry of Paramedics. He is a certified Instructor/Examiner and is affiliated with BLS, ACLS, PHTLS and PALS.
